Parking and entry at Higher Ground St. Paul

When you arrive:

Please enter the building from the main entrance, directly under the roof overhang. When you arrive, the door will be locked. Please ring the intercom on the front right pillar to alert staff you are here. Proceed to the desk, sign in (including your car make, color & license information) and put on your volunteer or visitor badge. Please don’t forget to sign out when you leave.

Parking:

Unfortunately, we have a limited amount of parking available and encourage carpooling and/or public transportation whenever possible. Our campus is located in a concentrated downtown neighborhood and we are doing all we can to provide easy parking for our volunteers, visitors and staff. Please help us out by closely following the instructions below.

Higher Ground St. Paul lot – We have a small lot next to our building. There are 4 spots reserved for volunteers from 7am – 10pm on a first come, first serve basis. If these spots are filled, please make your way to one of the other options listed below. If you are arriving after 6pm to volunteer, you may park in an available non volunteer spot.

Street Parking – pay stations are located on every street.

Smith Avenue Ramp (145 Smith Ave N St. Paul 55102) – accessed from Smith Avenue.

Municipal Ramp 7A (13 West Exchange Street St. Paul 55101) – accessed only from Exchange Street.
